Aqua-Hot Repair & Service
Heat and Hot Water You Can Count On
Your Aqua-Hot is the boiler that heats your coach and supplies its hot water, so when it fails you can lose both at once. As an Aqua-Hot Factory Authorized Service Center, we work on all Aqua-Hot models and all RV types, from minor repairs to full unit replacement, in our own shop in Alvarado.
Written estimate before any repair. No repair work is performed without your approval.

What We Fix
Aqua-Hot Problems We Diagnose and Repair
An Aqua-Hot heats your coach and your water from the same boiler, so one fault can show up as several symptoms. These are the problems owners bring us most.
- No hot water at the taps or shower
- No heat inside the coach, or heat in some zones but not others
- Water coming out of the Aqua-Hot exhaust
- Burner will not light, or shuts down during a cycle
- Hot water that runs out quickly or never gets hot
- Low boiler fluid, leaks, or a sweet antifreeze smell
- Noisy, weak or failed circulation pumps and zone fans
- Units at the end of their life that need full replacement
Cooling problems go to our RV A/C repair page, and onboard generator faults to generator repair and service.
How It Works
How an Aqua-Hot Repair Works
1. Tell Us What It Is Doing
No heat, no hot water, water at the exhaust, or a burner that will not stay lit. The symptom tells us where to start.
2. Diagnose the Whole System
An Aqua-Hot can heat from its diesel burner, its electric element and, on many coaches, engine heat. We test each heat source and the zones and pumps that move the heat, so the repair fixes the cause rather than the symptom.
3. Written Estimate and Your Approval
You get a written estimate before any repair starts. Nothing is done without your approval.
4. Repair or Replace
From a minor repair to a complete unit replacement when the boiler is past saving. As an Aqua-Hot Factory Authorized Service Center, we handle both in our own shop.
5. Test Heat and Hot Water Before Release
We run the system and confirm both heat and hot water work before the coach leaves, so you are not finding out on the first cold night.

One Boiler, Two Jobs
No Heat vs. No Hot Water

When the Coach Will Not Heat
The boiler may be hot but the heat is not reaching you. Zone valves, circulation pumps, fan coils and thermostats sit between the boiler and the living space, and any of them can stop the heat in one zone or all of them.

When the Water Will Not Get Hot
Hot water comes from a coil inside the boiler, so a hot-water problem can mean the boiler is not reaching temperature, a heat source has failed, or the domestic water side needs attention. Heat that works but water that does not points to a different repair than the reverse.
That difference is why we diagnose before we quote. Two coaches with “a broken Aqua-Hot” can need completely different repairs.
Cold Night Coming? Check Your Aqua-Hot Before You Need It.
A pre-winter service costs less than a repair in January, and a lot less than a trip with no heat. Call (682) 342-8110 or request service and we will get your coach on the schedule.

From Our Shop
Aqua-Hot Basics, From Our Shop Floor
In the video above, Gary walks through the Aqua-Hot unit itself. Class A coaches usually do not have a conventional water heater: they have a boiler that supplies both heat and hot water. The three problems owners bring us most are no hot water, no heat inside the coach, and water coming out of the exhaust. All three are repairable, and the fix depends on what is actually causing them.

Good Questions
Aqua-Hot Repair FAQs
It is a hydronic heating system, essentially a boiler, that supplies both cabin heat and hot water in many Class A motorhomes and luxury coaches. Instead of a conventional RV water heater, it heats a fluid loop and uses that heat for the living space and the water.
Because heat and hot water leave the boiler by different paths. Heat travels through pumps, zone valves and fan coils to the living space; hot water comes from a coil inside the boiler. A fault on one path can leave the other working, which is why the symptom matters for the diagnosis.
It is one of the three most common problems we see. The cause varies, so it is worth having the system checked rather than guessed at. We diagnose it and tell you what is going on before any repair is done.
Yes. We service and repair all Aqua-Hot models, on Class A motorhomes, luxury coaches and other RVs with hydronic heat.
Yes. Most problems are repairable, but when a unit is at the end of its life we can replace it. We will tell you which one makes sense for your coach, with a written estimate before any work begins.
Before you need it. Your owner’s manual sets the maintenance schedule, and many owners book a service before cold weather so heat and hot water are ready for winter. Ask about our pre-winter Aqua-Hot service.
